Another Birthday Card

Well considering I haven't made anything for a while I have had to make another rush card today as my daughter reminded me last night, as I was going to bed, that she needed a card for today.

This is another purple card 5" x 7". I do like purple and I love the DCWV glitter stack and as I used this one the other day I had just enough left for this card too! The little girl is a Mambi Sticker from Me and my big ideas stuck onto white card, cut out and stuck on with double sided pads. The number two is cut from the forementioned glitter stack and backed with silver mirri, mounted onto white card that has one edge punched with fiskar's threading water border punch (at last I have got one! I have wanted one for ages and treated myself a couple of weeks ago!) I inked the other edges with purple ink and stamped the name with Hero Arts dotty letter stamps and backed this with silver mirri. Last but not least a silver happy birthday peel off from a QVC kit.

Bad Blogger

I have been a terrible blogger lately. Time has not been on my side and I have not been doing much crafting. I am way behind on my scrapbooking course but at last I have finished week 1.
Here is my page for Journaling 101 week 1.

Here is Zoe's birthday card. I used her favourite colours. I made this at about 3 in the morning before her birthday. Sorry the picure is not brilliant
Plain black card from stash. Large letters are white glitter chipboard from a DCWV drawer set from QVCuk. Small letters are Epoxy crystal stickers by dovecraft bought in the sale from Arty miss 25p a sheet! Red gross grain from stash and small peel-off numbers.
And lastly here is the card I made for my best friends 40th birthday. Another rush job I'm afraid. Everything seems to be a rush job at the moment! The picture is not great, sorry.

A5 purple card from a QVC kit. 40 cut from DCWV glitter stack (Best card stack I have ever had! Especially if like me, you love a bit of glitter!!!) matted with silver mirri card. small flower gems pressie from mum and happy birthday grossgrain also from mumsie! Aren't I a lucky girl!

I am Blue- it's not as bad as it sounds

You Are A Blue Girl
Relationships and feelings are the most important things to you.
You are empathetic and accepting - and good at avoiding conflict.
If someone close to you is in pain, it makes you hurt as well.
You try to heal the ones you love with your kind and open heart.

You are The Empress

Beauty, happiness, pleasure, success, luxury, dissipation.

The Empress is associated with Venus, the feminine planet, so it represents, beauty, charm, pleasure, luxury, and delight. You may be good at home decorating, art or anything to do with making things beautiful.

The Empress is a creator, be it creation of life, of romance, of art or business. While the Magician is the primal spark, the idea made real, and the High Priestess is the one who gives the idea a form, the Empress is the womb where it gestates and grows till it is ready to be born. This is why her symbol is Venus, goddess of beautiful things as well as love. Even so, the Empress is more Demeter, goddess of abundance, then sensual Venus. She is the giver of Earthly gifts, yet at the same time, she can, in anger withhold, as Demeter did when her daughter, Persephone, was kidnapped. In fury and grief, she kept the Earth barren till her child was returned to her.
